The aim of this Summer School is to provide a vision for the information technology’s role and its state of art in helping to drive progress in the 21st century and in particular to improve the quality of life for all citizen.
The Information Society through Biomedical Technology and Materials, Renewable Energy, Earth Observation and Earth Science Applications, Intelligent Transport Systems, Cyber Security could allow to realise a shift from an energy intensive, highly polluting and goods-intensive economy, to a more dematerialised, knowledge-based economy.
This course will focus on systems, technologies and relative services associated to Earth Observation and Earth Science Applications, Biomedical Technology and Materials, Renewable Energy, Intelligent Transport Systems and Cyber Security which can significantly improve the quality of life of World Citizen.
